Obaseki has missed the APC party ticket. The question members of the public is expected to ask Godwin.

the question members of the public is expected to ask Godwin Obaseki and his naysayers are:
1) Did Godwin Obaseki earmarked that portion of the land for any project which is now awaiting execution ?
2) Was the development of the land in question, included in the 2020 fiscal budget?
3) Was the alleged school land schedule for infrastructural expansion, that now requires the reclamation of such land?
4) Was Obaseki already constructing the road along that stretch, which the hotel now obstructed?
5) What will now happened to the families of the over 75 Edolites who works in the Hotel that will now be jobless ?
6) Why did Obaseki chose to demolish the buildings which belongs only to members of the defunct EPM.
For some time now , Edo people has witnessed different incidences of politically induced executive violence ranging from thuggery, Arson, cultism and illegal possession of fire Arms , use of EID explosives, unhindered display of guns, Arms and dangerous weapons by their assigns, appointment of over 50 gullible minds who uses the social media platformS to attacking those who are not in tandem with his reelection ambition .
Power is always not permanent. You cannot be a governor forever.
Obaseki's recent temperament is suggesting that he has intensify his onslaught against his party and its leadership. This he anchored on their refusal to support his reelection ambition. You can force a horse to the river, but you can't force the horse to drink water from the river.
Edo APC leaders and MEMBERS have vehemently spoken together in unison that Obaseki must go!
One Mr Johnson Ikponmwen said that; "Godwin Obaseki was purely out for political vendetta and outright display of executive rascality against his perceived political enemies".
But one thing is certain in all of this political macabre dance of pafidy, *Obaseki has missed the APC party ticket *.
His recent executive actions is akin to a State Governor who have gone berserk with his desperate moves to get party enthusiasts to support his reelection ambition.
It is often said that Humility is next to responsibility. A man who cannot humble himself can certainly not be responsible.
Obaseki has only exposed the negative attributes of some technocrats in politics. Ambode did it and his was caught and expunged. Obaseki is doing it, and he will be summarily taught the appropriate political lesson.
Politics has gone past the level of primitivity and crase pettiness which Godwin Obaseki has employed recently.
In this modern day Nigeria,
at least, our nascent democracy is now over 20 years of age.
The democratic processes has evolved tremendously into a more civil and people oriented approach to politics, with substantial intensive loobying and consultations.
Obaseki's approach to his reelection ambition is unarguably archaic and absolutely alien to modern political realities across Nigeria and the world at large.
Thank God that the INEC has released the Timetable for the 2020 elections.
Nothing last forever.
