Ahead of Saturday Presidential election, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Vice Presidential Candidate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo yesterday received 56 prominent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members in the northern senatorial district of Ondo State.

They include the factional PDP Publicity Secretary, Gani Mohammed and 55 others led by Engr. Kola Ojomo, all from Owo local government.

Osinbajo received the defectors, while touring some communities in the State including Oke-Agbe, Arigidi, Akungba, Oka, Isua Akoko, Owo and Okitipupa.

Osinbajo assured that the APC will win the South West and that Gen Muhammadu Buhari will emerge victorious in the election.

The Buhari running mate also campaigned at ward of the first Civilian Governor of old Ondo State, late Adekunle Ajasin, in Igboroko in Owo local council.

He was accompanied by Bola Ilori, Dr. Paul Akintelure, Tunji Abayomi, Otunbaa Oyewole Fasawe, Jamiu Ekungba, Mrs. Jumoke Anifowose, Akinfehina Apata, Coordinator of Buhari Support Organisation (BSO), Kehinde Henry Bello, Senator Boroffice among others.

He said if elected, the party will give priority to the issue of employment as it is the core point for the development of youths in the country.

Osinbajo asked members and leaders of the party not to feel intimidated by the PDP on the election day, saying they should be courageous and work towards victory.
