We just heard that Segun Agbaje the INEC REC that conducted the rigged Osun state election which APC won   was beaten mercilessly at Dr Ibitoye's burial in Ikirun today  by angry residents of Osun state that saw him at the burial.

The event was the burial ceremony of another INEC REC and former Rector of Osun State Polytechnic, Dr. Timothy Ibitoye at First Baptist Church, Oke-Owode in Ikirun.

Somebody had chosen Segun Agbaje to deliver a eulogy but as soon as Baba was announced, all hell broke loose.

The crowd in the church (congregation doesn't seem appropriate in this case) immediately started singing songs reserved for thieves and robbers, the chants of Barawo and APC  Ole rented the air  - and Segun Agbaje turned the podium (a pulpit cannot be defiled) into another Collation Centre as he tried to explain himself.

"We will make your life inconclusive today" was only one of the various threats issued against the man as the crowd began to surge forward and other INEC officers took to their heels, leaving the clergy to intervene before someone would be lynched in the House of God

Agbaje of course tried to escape - but some long-handed fellows ensured they landed dirty slap on the poor man's face  before he could flee for his dear life.
