The Nigeria's Supreme Court is currently having 13 Justices, with seven of them due for retirement on or before the next 2023 general election.

The current Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mohammad Tanko would most likely retire on or before 2023, owing to the fact that he would reach the age of 70, which is the mandatory retirement age by then.

Meanwhile, the most senior Justice after Tanko and six others might have retired in 2023 is Justice Olukayode Ariwoola.

Justice Olukayode Ariwoola was born on August 22, 1958 and appointed as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in 2011.
