The U.S. Secretary of State, Mr John Kerry, on Sunday arrived in Lagos for an official engagement.

Reports revealed that Kerry arrived on board a U.S. Presidential jet at about 1 p.m. along with his entourage.

Kerry was being expected at the U.S embassy in Lagos where journalists had been waiting anxiosuly for his arrival.

Reports equally showed that journalists were, however, restricted from gaining access to the VIP wing of the Murtala Ramat Mohammed International Airport for the official coverage of Kerry's arrival.

Hopefully his visit would help strengthen peace conduct during and after election by political parties and politicians.
