VALENTINE OZIGBO CELEBRATES WITH ANULIKA & CHIDI ILIKA AS THEY TIE THE KNOT


Valentine Ozigbo, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the 2021 Anambra governorship election, was the chairman at the wedding ceremony of two of his friends, Emelda Anulika Ezeude and Valentine Chidi Ilika, who got married on Saturday, April 30, 2022.


The couple exchanged their vows at St Patrick's Catholic Cathedral, Awka, in a Holy Mass officiated by Most Rev Dr Jonas Benson Okoye, the Catholic Bishop of Nnewi Diocese.


The day's celebrations continued with an elaborate reception held at Stanel Dome, Awka, which attracted a host of dignitaries, friends, and family of the couple.


In his remarks, Mr Ozigbo admonished the couple to guard their marriage jealously and urged them to make conscious efforts to maintain their bond. 


"As two people who will live together for the rest of their lives, you need a lot of emotional support from each other. This support is important as it will come in handy when your choices are tested," Ozigbo, a respected business leader, said.


"When life comes at you, remember the reason why you fell in love with each other and ensure you are honest with yourselves", Ozigbo added.


Ozigbo further prayed for the couple and wished them a happy, fruitful married life.


Several dignitaries graced the occasion, including Professor Lawrence Ikeakor, a former Chief Medical Director of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Awka; Hon Sam Ugwute, a PDP House of Representatives aspirant in Ebonyi state, among others.
