How can you make money off the real estate market in San Francisco?
Given that the San Francisco is very big on preserving the housing stock that they have rather than destroy/building how would someone be able to make money off the real estate market over there without flipping?

A very good strategy for making money in the San Francisco market without quick turning or flipping the property is to locate a single family house that is in a mixed use commercial area. Like a busy street. What you are looking for is a property that is zoned commercial. So you find this single family home that may be across the street from a shopping center or office building. You can pay full price for the property and go to city hall to get a zoning variance. They you may rent the property to a professional tenant. Doctor, Dentist, Pest Company, Day care, etc.
