Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has frowned on an advertisement on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) which it said portray the religion in bad light.

"The advertisement sponsored by Initiative for Peaceful Election, apparently on behalf of a political party contains a concocted documentary which embarrassingly maligns Islam and portray Nigerian Muslim in bad light is aired on a national television owned by the federal government.
