Do you think that Dating and hook up websites encourage fornication, cheating, adultery and sin?

I just come across argument where people argue that all these dating websites around do more harm to the society than good.
I don't know what other members here think about this assertion, while there is an element of truth in that argument, I think is more of what people are capable of not as a result of all these dating and hook ups websites, as before the advents of all these dating websites people (men and women) engage in one form of cheating or the other in relationship.
