THE WEAKNESS OF THE DEVIL

The devil is like a lion,not a lion.1st peter 5:8 says,Be sober and vigilant because your adversary the devil,as a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour.So you see,he does like a lion,he roars like a lion.But because he is not a lion he is therefore powerless.All the devil is looking for is to make you fear him,once you begin to fear him in your heart then he begins to gain control over your life.But God has not given you the spirit of fear but of power,of love and of a sound mind.So right now in your mind,register a permanent record that the devil is not as powerful as you think.He is an imposter,he does like a lion,he has the lowest self esteem.From today the devil will begin to fear you in Jesus precious name.But Jesus Christ is the Lion of the tribe of Juda.Revelation 5:5.Fear not,God has it all.The earth is His and the fullness thereof.You are a joint heir with Christ Jesus.You are a god,and the devil is programmed to fear you.With this you can tell satan to get lost.He has been defeated already by Jesus Christ even before you were born.

You therefore need to live a life of boldness.Because it is only boldness that puts the devil away.If the devil acts like a lion,your expression of bold faith will always put him off your territory.No wonder the bible admonishes us to be bold as a lion.And in Joshua chapter one we were told to be strong and courageous.Stop moving about as if you have been defeated.You are victorious.Your victory is sure.Be bold,standing on God's word and the devil will begin to fear you.

What is it that reduces your boldness.The only thing that reduces boldness is sin.Itis only the righteous that are as bold as a lion.Proverbs 28:1.What the devil does is to tempt you frequently so as to make you commit all formS of sin, and when you do,guilt steps in.And it is this guilt that attacks your boldness.You start feeling unwanted by God.

But there is mercy with God.His mercies are new every morning.If you will just hunger and thirst after righteousness,then you will definitely be filled.I decree that as you keep God's word in your heart,sin shall no more have dominion over you.Romans 6:14.Sin has been dealt with by Christ,All you need to do is to walk in the spirit.Feed your spirit with God's word morning,afternoon and night as you will do your flesh and you will see how weak sin is.

Finally my brothers and sisters.Begin to talk with boldness,pray with bolness and do everything with bolness.God is with you,nothing can be against you.Be strengthened in Jesus precious name.
