FULFILLING YOUR MARITAL DESTINY
We shall be looking at this subject today from three angles or three standpoints. You have a marital destiny and it is in Gods hand. It is so glorious, it is so enviable, and it is what everyone desires maritally.
Your marital destiny is not just good but very good.
The first angle am going to be looking at this subject is the single angle.
THE SINGLE.
Singlehood is designed by God for preparation. Although many people have abused this period and are still abusing it because they don't know what the essence is. It is a period of preparation not exploration. Single Hood is the foundation for marriage. You are supposed to remain single for a period of time so as to be able to discover who you really are. What you like and what you don't like. Single hood is not a lonely period; it is only a period of discovery. There are things God shows you when you are single.
Matthew 6 vs. 22
The light of the body is the eye; if therefore your eye is single your whole body will be full of light.
Single hood is a period where you discover what you truly want from life and focus on it. You discover and then you pay attention to it. It is a time when you discover the path you are to take, it is a very crucial stage, a stage of intense preparation. For the task you have before you. Adam was single doing what he was destined for, naming all of Gods creature and dressing and keeping the garden. He was doing that when God saw that it was not good for Him to be alone. So God brought Eve. Single hood has its benefits if handled appropriately. This is why the devil digresses the attention of many singles today.
Single hood is also a stage of separation; you cannot discover your destiny in the midst of the crowd. You must pull out from this distraction. Until you discover the path you are to take whether it is political, business, career, ministry or entertainment you are not permitted to move to the next stage or the next angle of our discussion today.
THE ENGAGED/IN A RELATIONSHIP.
The reason for instability in relationships I mean premarital relationships is because of the faulty foundations in the lady and the guy's single period. They were not thoroughly prepared, when they should be preparing they were busy exploring, involving in sexual sins, watching x rated movies, moving with the wrong companies, there was no separation, there was no discovery so there will not be any focus. The relationship stage/pre marital phase is the period of intense planning, after you discover in your single hood stage. You are now prepared to get the right partner. Once you are prepared the right partner automatically comes. Gods will for marriage is fulfilled when you are prepared for it. The marital relationship stage as it relates to your destiny is a period where you begin to carry out your plans. You must have a plan as the man, the woman is coming to you as the help meet.
Genesis 2 vs. 18
And the Lord God said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
Woman is a help meet, you first of all discover your purpose then you will discover your help meet. Relationship has been bastardised by many, you can get any woman any where and any time, but to get the right woman, that is, Gods chosen partner for you, you must have discovered your purpose. Ladies please listen it is dangerous to be moving with a man that does not know where he is going. The first question you must ask him is about his purpose.
This stage is a period of pruning, you are in this relationship to make each other the best, you point out her fault in love and she does yours in love and both of you prayerfully seek Gods help. This is not the time to test if she will be good in bed, every woman is good in bed all you need to do is to discover it in marriage. You are not to practice sex, because sex will spoil a lot of things, please both of you focus on the PLAN. I pray for the mercies of God at this point, if you have been involved in sex in your relationship, you can be restored if you stop now. But if you can't stop then you must break that relationship. THE MARRIED.
If everything works out well, you will be heading for a hitch free marriage. Why because the foundation is solid and in place, the pillars are also properly aligned. You won't have a problem in marriage. Children will come and your primary role is to train them in the way they should go. Put them on the right course, so they can discover their destinies earlier. Your marriage is settled when the above two stages are followed. I see things becoming better for you in the name of Jesus. It takes knowledge to get the best in anything. Now that you have heard, whether you are still single, in a relationship or courtship or married, you must make sure that the necessary ingredients I have shown you are in place. You are fulfilling your marital destiny in Jesus Name.
