Knowing God’s Perfect Will for Your Life.
Everybody desires to know God’s will for their lives. But unfortunately not everybody know how to go about it. Nothing is as wonderful like when you are in God’s perfect will for your life. This is the ultimate, and I know you desire to know it if you have not yet discovered it. Before I begin I will like to make one striking statement; YOU CANNOT DETERMINE GOD’S WILL FOR YOUR LIFE, YOU ARE ONLY ALLOWED TO DISCOVER IT AND EMPOWERED TO WALK IN IT.
God has a general will for His people, but also has a specific will for you as an individual. The mistake many people make and I mean very many people is that they try to discover the specific will without knowing the general will. This is dangerous because you may not really know the specific without the general. You could be walking in assumption. The general will of God is the gateway to the specific will of God. The general will is what enables you to discover and walk in the specific will of God.
The will of God is in the word of God. Any continuous struggle and suffering is because you may be operating outside the will of God in one or more areas of your life. Deuteronomy 28:1-2 says that if you will do all the will of God then you will be placed above all nations of the earth and will only experience blessings, blessings and more blessings through out your life. (Paraphrased by me).
The only thing the devil does and knows how to do is to keep people from doing all the will of God. So that they will not see all the blessings of God. My prayer is that a fresh zeal will begin to burn in your heart to do all that God says. It is only the will of God that pleases God.
God wants His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10. In heaven there is no lack, there is no sickness, there is no failure, there is no defeat…All these and many more are only possible because in heaven there is no SIN. This brings me to the general will of God, and that is to abstain from every form of sin.
When you lie, whether it is big or small. You are committing sin, when you steal, lust, exaggerate, hate you are committing sin. When you don’t go to church then you are committing sin, Hebrews 10:25. When you don’t pay your tithe and give your offerings then you are robbing God, which also is sin. Malachi 3:6-10. When you fornicate or commit adultery physically or in your heart, you are committing sin. When you look at a woman lustfully, you are committing sin…Anything God is against is sin. And until you desire to do this ultimate will of God, some struggles may still continue. Without Holiness you cannot experience the ALL of God. No wonder the devil’s most powerful weapon is sin.
But I have good news for you. SIN SHALL NO MORE HAVE DOMINION OVER YOU. Romans 6:14. If you will judge every step you take, every thought you think, every word you speak and every desire you have by the word of God which is the will of God then you will automatically begin to fulfill God’s general will of Holiness. And as you do this, God’s specific will of prosperity, of healing, health and wholeness, of protection and security, of divine wisdom and many more will automatically begin to happen in your life. (3rd John vs.2. Revelation 5:12, Jeremiah 29:11, Ecclesiastes 12: 13, 1st John 2:17). From today no more delays and stagnation for you in Jesus Precious name.
