THEME: COVENANT DAY OF LONG LIFE
TOPIC: REWARDS OF KINGDOM STEWARDSHIP
In the previous post, we discussed the benefits of kingdom stewardship and we shall continue with the last benefit of kingdom stewardship which is “LONG LIFE”.
The last reward for kingdom stewardship or kingdom service is “LONG LIFE”. It has always been the will of God that all who serves him will live a long life. There is no how you will serve God whole heartedly and die young. Every child of God is programmed and wired for long life from the beginning as seen in Isaiah 65:20-22. Anyone who dies below hundred years is anti-covenant and a curse unto that child of God which means that hundred years is the minimum age at which a child of God is allowed and permitted to die. The bible says that we the children of God will build house and we shall dwell in it and we shall plant in the vineyard and reap the fruit of our labour. This simply means that every child of God is programmed to live longer than necessary. The reason Christ came is to release the license of long life as seen in John 10:10.
However, there are certain things we must do to maintain that license of long life. Kingdom stewardship is the license for long life because God will never allow a man that serves him faithfully to die carelessly. In the book of Exodus 23:20-25, God promised to give us a full life span. The major reason people die carelessly is ignorance of the benefits in serving God. When you know the benefits in serving God, you will know that long life is one of them. The bible says in Isaiah 38:1-5 “In those days, King Hezekiah became ill and the Lord sent Prophet Isaiah to inform the king that he should prepare his house because he is about to die but when he cried unto God and begged for forgiveness God added more years to him. The reason God added more years to King Hezekiah is because he knows his right in kingdom service. King Hezekiah reminded God of his promise and begged him and God added more years to him. God said in Isaiah 43:26 that we should put him in remembrance of his promise to us.
HOW TO ACCESS THE REWARDS OF LONG LIFE
There are typically three things that will guarantee you reward in serving God viz:
1. Serve God with honour (Malachi 1:6)
2. Serve God with fear: You cannot serve God well without having the fear of God in you. He is the master and we are the servants.
3. Serve God with love: When you serve God with love you will receive your reward for kingdom service. (Psalm 91:14-16)
4. Serve God with righteousness: Our God is a righteous God; therefore, we must serve him with all righteousness
And with this, we come to the conclusion of our topic: “REWARDS OF KINGDOM STEWARDSHIP”.
PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS
1. Henceforth, I decree and declare that as you have decided to serve God tirelessly, long life shall be your portion in Jesus name
2. I prophetically decree and declare that any plan of the evil ones to terminate your life and destiny shall never stand in Jesus name
3. From today, God will expose all the evil men and women that has been tormenting your life and destiny
4. As you serve God tirelessly, you will never miss heaven on the last day in Jesus name
5. I prophetically decree and declare that from today, God will bless you beyond measures in Jesus name
