BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING
Catch all you can, receive all you can, learn all you can but one thing I know is that your life will not remain the same by the time you finish reading this message. Lord God, I bless your name for the heart reading this message at this time; please prove that you sent this word to meet his/her needs today in Jesus name.
I am teaching you this week on the subject of ANXIETY. BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING, GOD IS SAYING THIS TO YOU VIA THIS WORD AT THIS MOMENT.
Philippians 4 vs. 6
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God
Anxiety is more of a problem to humanity than the devil. God does nothing when you are anxious or worrisome. Anxiety is to be worrisome, to be anxious is essentially to be bothered and wonder in unrest. Unfortunately when you think your worries will move God it only drives God farther away from you.
That situation you need God to intervene for may remain the same and keep getting worse until you stop bothering your self about it.
Psalms 46 vs. 10
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen; I will be exalted in the earth.
God is not wicked, God is not slow, God is never late, the only reason why there is delay is because you are anxious, it’s because you are worried.
If only you will be still, you will still see Gods mighty hand working for you. Prayers in anxiety is futile, it’s a waste of time. It is prayer in faith that guarantees instant result.
It is due to anxiety that even when your breakthrough seemed to be coming it stopped halfway. With anxiety you keep getting close to your break through and never breaking through.
God has the silver and gold in His hands.Haggi chapter 2 vs. 8. He won’t tell you to go and come tomorrow. He answers instantly, when you pray you are bound to see the result, but this depends on the state of your heart.
Listen to this, your heart is either at rest or in anxiety. So to worry over an issue is a proof that you don’t trust God. You will not need to wait for long for your miracle to happen again.
DEALING WITH ANXIETY
To deal with anxiety, you must be prayerful with thanksgiving like the scripture said in Philippians 4 vs. 6; be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Many are prayerful but are not thankful so anxiety steps in because they begin to expect and expect instead of thanking God so their expectation is eventually unfulfilled.
Hear this from today your expectation will not be cut off. Look at Hannah in scriptures for example in 1st Samuel 1 vs. 1 to 20. She was always going to Shiloh to pray to God every year, in quest of a child. She kept going and going until one certain year came, after pouring out her heart to God, her countenance changed, she was no more sad, that means she was joyful. 1st Samuel chapter 18. In verse 19 she praised and worshiped God, and then in verse 20 her miracle child was conceived. Just as God remembered Hannah, God is remembering you right now in the name of Jesus. Once your heart is at rest God begin to move and work. He caused Adam to fall asleep for Him to form EVE the woman. God won’t work until your heart is at peace. Have you not observed that most of the things you needed actually came when you didn’t expect them. They came to pass because you were no more anxious bothering yourself over them. A doctor cannot successfully carry out a surgery operation on a patient except that patient is asleep due to Anesthesia or some sleeping sedatives. In like manner, God will only begin to move when you stop being anxious. Jesus was never worried once, He was never stranded once all He did was to give God thanks, rejoicing in everything. Is it a husband you need, is it a child or a job that you need, and is it Gods divine intervention on any case or a spiritual break through that you need. Do not be anxious for it but in prayers, supplications with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God. As you do this from now, I see commotion of answers to your past and present prayers coming to pass, I see multiplication of Gods blessings and I see restoration of wasted years/opportunities in the precious name of JESUS CHRIST. Blessed be God. Begin to give God thanks where you are in Jesus Name Amen.
