THE DEVIL IS POWERLESS,BUT HIS DEVICES ARE POWERFUL ONCE YOU ARE IGNORANT OF THEM.
I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ,the source of all things.Hebrews chapter 12:2 says that He is the author and the finisher...Whatever He starts He is faithful to complete.I bring you yet another word of the LORD for today.And this brief message will make you a living testimony all the days of your Life.
We understand from scriptures that your mind is the driver of your destiny.Wherever your mind goes,your destiny goes.For as a man thinks in his heart so is he.Proverbs 23:7.You are a sum total of what you think.That is why it is important to guard your heart with every strength that you have.Secure it,because what goes in there and settles there will soon begin to reflect in your life. What you allow to settle in your mind, you have allowed to settle in your life.
The devil is powerless but his devices are powerful.Do not be ignorant of the devices of the devil.2nd Corinthians 2:11. Satan only succeeds in molesting people not beccause he is powerful,but because they are ignorant of his devices. One foremost device the devil uses to impose sin on people is IDLENESS.This idleness is not the idleness of the hand but the idleness of the mind.An idle mind is a play ground for the devil. Never allow your mind to be idle because that is when the devil will start bringing thoughts of lust and seduction. An idle mind is a weak mind because the devil fills the vaccum with countless negative thoughts standing against the faith of that person.The devil also builds doubts when your mind is idle. That is why you must continually renew your mind with scriptures day in day out.In fact Joshua 1:8 says you must meditate on God's word day and night. David a great king with innumerable talents and seasoned grace fell cheaply one day when he saw a naked woman having her bath in 2nd Samuel 11.David fell so cheaply that day not because the woman was naked but because he was idle.He did not go for war,he was not studying,he was not writing,he was not praising God as usual,he was not composing songs,So his stamina was weakened by idleness.He could not resist,his spirituality vanished immediately.The devil is weak but he uses idleness to weaken you.You will no more be idle in the name of Jesus Christ.Hear this if you don't have anything else to do or to keep your mind busy on,you better sleep so as to rest your body.
Receive grace never to be idle again in the precious name of Jesus Christ.Now the best thing to do after you have worked so hard is to think so hard,not to move about you may just move into sin.You will not fall into the tricks of the devil in Jesus precious name.
