One thing about eternity is that if you do not experience rapture for you to meet Jesus, you can actually go and meet Jesus even before the rapture takes place. Nobody knows when they will be called home. And the Bible clearly says that not everyone will experience rapture because apparently, many will go to be with the Lord before then. So, whenever you go to be with the Lord, you've experienced your own personal rapture. But have you asked yourself where you'll actually go to when you leave this earth? Have you thought about the practical steps that necessitates your getting there?

Going to eternity is like going to a particular destination. For you to arrive safely, you need to prepare adequately and pack the necessities. So, I will be informing you of the 5 important requirements you need to have in order to make it to Heaven.

A LIFE OF HOLINESS

A life without holiness is a life of worldliness. A life of holiness is devoid of sin. Though you might stumble, but you'll be quick to come to repentance with soberness of heart and be careful not to repeat such again. If you keep on going back to your same old ways of sin, you are abusing the grace made available to you and you are living a life of deceit and worldliness (Romans 6:1-2). If you will make it to heaven, you must be living in holiness and purity. (Hebrews 12:14)

SOUL WINNING

Two reasons why God created us – to worship Him and to populate His kingdom. If you aren't populating His kingdom, you are not obeying the will of God. And disobeying the will of God is a great sin and with sin, you cannot see God (1Thessalonians 2:19-20).

PRAISE AND WORSHIP

To worship God is why He created us. If you are not worshipping God, you are not fulfilling the reason why He created you which is a sin and you know that a sinner cannot make Heaven. You have to develop a life of worship. (Revelations 19:5-7, 1Peter 2:9, Isaiah 51:11, Philippians 2:10-11)

HUMILITY AND PEACE

You cannot be living in pride and expect to go to heaven. These are two parallel lines. Jesus lived a life of humility even though He is God. You have to live all your days in Humility and Purity if you will make it to the gates of Heaven. (Matthew 18:3-4) You must also be a peacemaker.

SEPERATION FROM THE WORLD

Many people claim to be born again but refuse to separate themselves from the world. As a Christian, you are living in the kingdom already, so, you are not of this world but just in this world. If you are not already living in the kingdom, you cannot enter into the kingdom. You have to live on earth as citizens of heaven (1Peter 2:13-17).

Making it to heaven is not about carrying out activities or living in eye service. Even if you go to church regularly, if you aren't doing any of the above, you have not started your Christian walk to the paradise.
