A 53-year-old grandmother has been arrested, charged and convicted of r*pe after she allegedly defiled and abused her 4 grandchildren, prosecutors in Ohio has said. Read more from Scoop:

Edwina Louis of Wheelersburg, was convicted of four counts of r*pe, three counts of child endangerment, one count of kidnapping and one count of tampering with evidence. Scioto County Common Pleas Judge William T. Marshall immediately sentenced her to four consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole on the charges of r*pe.

The four grandchildren testified on court against the grandmother, telling tales about torture, r*pe and starvation. The abuse came to light, when the grandmother’s 9-year-old granddaughter sent a message to her teacher, saying that she and her siblings were being beaten, tied, starved and defiled.
