Dqueen

Dear Community members,

I am a PhD student as a University in the UK and my research is on 'brand' Africa and continental development. I have been a member of this great community for a few months now. During the time I have been here, I have come across several well-informed comments and contributions from you folks, which I would like to use in my research. Therefore I am seeking your permission for this.

I plan to include some of the quotes on my research blog <http://research-africa.blogspot.co.uk/>. Also I will post my interpretations in this community for commenting when it is ready. However this is likely to take quite some time.

I have informed the community administrators (founders) about my research and they have given me the permission to  contact you folks directly. In general, if you are ok with me citing you, could you please indicate it in this thread. However, I am going to send you messages (and they are not spam).

Thank you all in advance for you support!

Best wishes,
Dqueen

We're always here to use AfricaTopForum to  make a difference.
By the way, why blogspot, when with not more than 30 dollars a year you can have your domain eg www.researchafrica.anything,  unless this is for short term.

That is my cent.
Keep the good work.

Dqueen

true@Webmaster, an own domain would be good. let's see how the research progresses and if we can relocate the blog to another domain (it's a phd project with a duration of 2 years left).

That is Ok. There is Writers privilege here though.

Dear all (my brothers and sisters),

Further to my previous posts, I would like to say I have updated my research blog with more details. I hope the information is enough to provide a somehow more clear picture of what my research is about and where it is going, including who I am: http://research-africa.blogspot.co.uk/

By the way I would like to conduct interviews within our community (cokoye), and if anyone is in UK and willing to do an interview please let me know. That would be so helpful. I will be sending private messages with the requests to some of you.

Thank you for your support so far.

Best wishes,
Penelope (but I prefer Dqueen when interacting here)

Dqueen glad to know that your project branding of Africa is getting to the direction as expected and better.
About the interview I think the only person I know because of his passion, focus and too much positive about the continent of Africa is the Administrator of  cokoye, you can see that in his write ups and value of this forum which states: All Positive and Uplifting of Africa. Being one of aims cokoye was founded.

Unlike thousands of members here, who visit cokoye to socialize; post to only areas related to their business, criticize Africa and read only.

Perfect

You can also conduct the interview through email or chat it will be more convenient to me especially.

Thank you for the kind words about my research project. It still has some way to go, but I believe it will get 'there' with cokoye community's continued support.

I will talk to Perfect soon.
