One of the major problems confronting the Nigeria

One of the major problems confronting the Nigerian society at large is that people keep on shifting responsibilities and blames till no one is responsible. For instance, we are still blaming the British Colonial masters for ugly situations of things in Nigeria after many years of our independence.


 In Religion, the Faithful are blaming the Priests and Priests are blaming the Bishops while the Bishops are blaming the Faithful. Any time we shift blames and responsibilities to others we miss the opportunity of leadership. And every sin we commit is an opportunity missed because in sinning we miss an opportunity to live out virtue.


Jesus Christ in the Gospel of today, shed tears over Jerusalem because of many opportunities they had to turn towards God in righteousness but rebelled instead. May God not shed tears over us because of opportunities we have missed in life. Use your opportunities well.
