The routine NBA games are good for the most part but there are nonetheless some abuse of mechanisms like baseline drive animations that are seemingly unguardable with the average NBA player. The contest process is far better for everyone, particularly guards though (even without intimidator) on the interior and it needs players to place displays and force mismatches which is good because it is imitating a true nicely thought out baseball play. No issues here.
PvP sliders for the mycareer are dreadful. No I dont need to be stepping back using a two way slashing playmaker, but I would like to get a chance of being rewarded for setting up a teammate with a 75 3pt. Rewarding bad defense by leaving someone wide open since they dont have a 90+ point shot needs to be repaired, because this encourages paint sitting which also hinders slashers from enjoying properly too.
2K also included a shot stick which really is different and fairly cool but there isn't any reason to use it when you're able to shoot more consistently with the button. If youre going to implement a mechanic, give it a motive for people to utilize it. They should create the green window larger or more consistent for those people with typical 3pt shots in order to encourage practicing the mechanic and forcing the defense to really play basketball defense.
I understand that although this is a sporting simulation its not going to be ideal but as a video game there has to be equilibrium. There should not be only 1 way to win (play shots chucking shots and glass cleaners catching them) because at this point it becomes a shoot out and who can be lucky enough to green it should be how you utilize what your myPlayer can perform with your teammates into a particular game plan in order to acquire a bucket.
