Emmanuel Emenike is
expected back in training
on Friday after being left
out of Thursday's session
owing to a slight knock suffered in Wednesday's
4-1 mauling of Mali in the
semi final of the ongoing
Africa Cup of Nations.
Under control
Ben Alaiya Media Officer to the
Eagles on Friday morning said
Emenike and teammate Victor
Moses were both excused from
Thursday's proceeding so they
can have some rest and that there was nothing serious to
fear about. -Emenike will be back in training
today but we are still waiting for
the result of the scan on Moses.
Ut both players will be available
for the finals. The Eagles
spokesman assured.
Targets
Already Emenike who resumes
training today has his eyes on
not just winning the trophy with
Nigeria but also inning the Golden
Boot award. The Spartak Moscow of Russia
currently has four goals to his
name which makes his joint top
scorer at the South Africa
tournament.
