According to the Confederation
of African Football (CAF), the
qualifying draw will take place in
Casablanca during the next CAF
Congress that starts on Saturday 8 March.
Missing
The qualifiers towards the 2015
edition will revert back to the
old format and away from the one used to select 15 teams
that joined South Africa for the
29th edition that was held from 19 January to 10 February 2013. According to the seeding already
out, Kenya is missing from the first three pots and can only fall
in Pot 4 which will be fully determined once preliminary rounds conclude.
No team from the same group will face off with each other.

Pot 2 2013 AFCON winners Nigeria and
runners up Burkina Faso as well
as semi finalists Mali and Ghana
all fall in Pot 1. Senegal, Cameroon, Guinea and Uganda are some of the 11 teams that fall in pot 2 while Ethiopia, Benin, Angola and Niger are part of the team that fall in
Pot 3.
