The term sports was derived from the various physical activities that human use to perform. The physical activities were intended to be the physical exercises or a type of an entertainment. People use to accept sports as a means to entertain themselves. Some people accept sports as a mean to remain physical fit whereas others take sports as a mean to have self satisfaction. Leaving this entire thing that people use to think about sports, is all about somebody's passion.

Sports these days have gone beyond the things you mentioned, as sports are more of money making machine and business, both for club owners, spectators and players.
