Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi
was quick to deflect praise
from himself and to his
players after a historic
African Nations Cup title
win. Keshi became only the second
man to win the Nations Cup as
both a player and coach but said
his players should take the
credit. "It is their trophy," he said. "I
always believed in them right
from our training camp in
Portugal when I told them that
they could win the trophy. "But they didn't believe me at
the time and thought I was just
talking. But they began to
believe when we got here, and I
must say I am happy for them
because they did all we asked of them. "You can't ask for a better
group of players."

Perfect

Keshi as a coach too did wonderfully well for the team, without his numerous wisdom of handling the team such as players selection they wouldn't have carried this Africa cup of nations.
