Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi has released his final 23-man squad for the World Cup.


The list was only made public during the Super Eagles' training session at PPL Park on Monday night, having earlier been submitted to the NFF for transmission to FIFA.

A top official of the NFF informed cokoye.com that Keshi wanted to first speak to the seven dropped players before his selections were aired to the media.
"It will not be right for us to release the list, and the players hear it from anybody other than the coach," explained the official prior to the squad announcement.
"As soon as he has spoken to the players, and given us the go-ahead, the list will be released."
The dropped players will not leave immediately, but will stay for Tuesday's friendly against Greece.
