Nigeria's Super Falcons will face
Cote d'Ivoire in their final
preliminary game at the 2012
Africa Women's Championships
(AWC) at a new kick-off time.
The game, which was earlier
billed to kick off from 5:30pm will
now get underway from 2:30pm.
The kick-off time was altered by
the organising committee for the
championships.
A draw for Nigeria against the
Ivorian ladies at the Estadio de
Malabo on Sunday will confirm
the Falcons as winners of Group
B.
Head coach of the Nigerian team,
Kadiri Ikhana is however taking
nothing for granted against the
West Africans.
"The team [Super Falcons]
wants to finish as group winners
and qualify for the semifinal.
That is what we have in mind
now.
"The Ivorians are a very
aggressive team especially in the
attack. They will be a very
strong opposition and we have
to be on top of our game to
defeat them," Ikhana said.
