in a battle to sign former
West Ham forward Victor
Obinna.
Obinna, 24, has left the east
London club following their
relegation into the
Championship.
The Nigeria international failed to
secure a regular first-team place
at Upton Park following his
season-long loan from Inter
Milan and is keen to get his
career back on track.
Tony Pulis is looking to
strengthen his squad during the
summer and was impressed
with the performances of Obinna
when he featured in the Premier
League last season.
But he faces stiff competition
from Napoli who have also been
strongly linked with the talented
forward and the two clubs will
battle it out to clinch his signature
over the next few weeks.
