PHILADELPHIA - Once it came down to a shootout, this was no contest. Tyler Seguin scored the decisive goal against Ilya Bryzgalov in a shootout and Tim Thomas and the Boston Bruins beat the Philadelphia Flyers 6-5 on Sunday. Thomas finally allowed a shootout goal after going 9 for 9, but he stopped Wayne Simmonds to end it. Meanwhile, Bryzgalov has allowed goals on all five shots hes faced in shootouts this season. "As a goalie, I would prefer to go to shootout at 1-1 or 2-2," Thomas said. "We need to improve. We played some real good hockey a majority of the year. Weve found a way to get points. Its nice to win, but we want to do it the right way." The Northeast Division-leading Bruins havent lost in regulation in Philadelphia since March 10, 2007, going 9-0-1. The defending Stanley Cup champions are tied with the New York Rangers for first place in the Eastern Conference. Patrice Bergeron, Seguin, Milan Lucic, David Krejci and Gregory Campbell scored Bostons goals. Scott Hartnell scored a natural hat trick in the second period and Max Talbot had two goals for Philadelphia. Philadelphias Matt Read missed the net on the first shot in the shootout. Krejci then scored for the Bruins. Claude Giroux answered for Philadelphia, becoming the first person to score on Thomas in three shootouts this season. After Seguin beat a sprawling Bryzgalov, Thomas stuffed Simmonds. "Our whole team could have been better," Bruins coach Claude Julien said. "(Thomas) was bombarded with shots. There was a lot of traffic. We battled hard and did what we had to do to win." The injury-riddled Flyers, already missing captain Chris Pronger for the rest of the season because of a concussion, played without Danny Briere (concussion) and Jaromir Jagr (lower-body injury). Both players were injured in Saturdays 4-1 win at New Jersey. Coach Peter Laviolette was encouraged by the teams performance this weekend without some of its star players. "Its hard when you lose a game," he said. "Overall, the effort was some of the best Ive seen." Leading 4-3 to start the third, the Flyers failed to become the first team to overcome a two-goal deficit against Boston this season. Krejci redirected Rich Peverleys shot to tie it at four just 1:19 into the third period. Campbell scored the go-ahead goal less than four minutes later when he tapped in Daniel Pailles wraparound shot. Talbot tied it at five when he tipped Matt Carles slapshot past Thomas during a power play. These teams have become rivals after meeting in the playoffs the past two seasons. The Bruins won their sixth Stanley Cup last year, sweeping Philadelphia out of the Eastern Conference semifinals in the process. In 2010, the Flyers overcame a 3-0 series deficit and 3-0 deficit in Game 7 and beat Boston in the semis. "They are a team with a lot of pride," Lucic said. "We expected them to be tough. The Flyers always bring their best. We are two of the top teams in the league. Weve played well all season and its great to get a win." The shaggy-haired Hartnell, having the best season of his career, scored three straight goals to give the Flyers a 4-3 lead in the second. He leads the team with 25 goals, five shy of his career high set in 2008-09. Despite his success, Hartnell wasnt selected to play in the all-star game next week in Ottawa. "I havent really thought about it," he said. "It wouldve been a treat to get picked and get credit for the start of the season. Last couple games have been pretty good. I have plans made already. But if I get the call (to replace someone), Id be there in a heartbeat." Hartnell got Philadelphia within 3-2 on a power-play goal a few minutes into the period when he blasted a one-timer while down on one knee. Hartnell then scored a nifty goal to tie it at three. He caught a pass from Giroux, dropped the puck, turned around and lifted a shot over defenceman Adam McQuaid that fluttered above Thomas stick. Hartnell put the Flyers up 4-3 in the final minute of the period. He lost his stick during the shift, skated over to the bench to grab another one, returned to the circle and ripped another shot past Thomas. Fans littered the ice with hats to celebrate Hartnells sixth career three-goal game and first since Dec. 20, 2008. With only 46.5 seconds left in the second, players went back to their lockers and added the extra time to the final period. Bergeron scored his 15th goal to give the Bruins a 1-0 lead just 50 seconds into the game. Talbot tied it at one when his crossing pass to Jakub Voracek hit off Bruins defenceman Dennis Seidenberg, bounced off Thomas pads and went in. But the Bruins answered with two goals in a span of 3:29 to go up 3-1. Seguin scored his 18th goal near the midpoint of the first. Lucic then fired a shot from the slot over Bryzgalovs shoulder to put Boston ahead 3-1. There were two fights and another scuffle during a feisty first period. Tom Sestito, just recalled by the Flyers because of the injuries, dropped the gloves against Lucic early in the game. Later, Bostons Chris Kelly went after Brayden Schenn after the rookie delivered a crushing check on Steven Kampfer. Bryzgalov then got a roughing penalty that precipitated a shoving match. Players squared off two more times during the game. The Flyers and Bruins are the two most penalized teams in the NHL. Notes: Bruins D Andrew Ference was suspended three games without pay by the NHL for boarding New York Rangers defenceman Ryan McDonagh during overtime of a 3-2 loss on Saturday. The suspension will cost Ference US$36,486.48. "My opinion (on the ruling) I think is best reserved for friends and family," Ference said. ... Shelley surpassed 1,500 career penalty minutes with his fight. ... Briere is out indefinitely. Hes the sixth Flyers player to sustain a concussion this season. ... Jeff Carter was the last Flyer to score a natural hat trick on Nov. 11, 2010. ... Boston is 24-0 in games in which it has led by two goals at any point. ... The Bruins are heading to the White House to visit President Barack Obama on Monday. Matt Beleskey Jersey . Louis Blues. The Senators trailed by one goal heading into the third period on Saturday and couldnt spark a comeback as the Blues dominated the final 20 minutes to hang on to a 3-2 victory. Phil Esposito Bruins Jersey .com) - Nate Thompsons goal with 2:30 played in overtime lifted Anaheim to a 2-1 decision over Dallas from American Airlines Center. http://www.Jerseyhockeybruinsstore.com/authentic-ray-bourque-bruins-Jersey-sale/ . Rose keyed a seven-point burst to open the fourth period, assisting on three straight field goals. John Lucas III hit a three-pointer and Taj Gibson scored twice, opening up an 11-point lead for Chicago. Brad Marchand Bruins Jersey . - With Dwyane Wade in the locker room and Chris Bosh enduring a nightmare of a shooting night, the Miami Heat still found the defensive moxie to finish an unlikely Staples Center sweep. Jake DeBrusk Bruins Jersey . Monday was a full work day. The liner was put down, the mat was plumbed and installed and the chiller unit was fired up for the first time this season. To build up the first layer of ice, I flooded multiple times on Day 1 - using a light spray to ensure each flood was completely freezing before repeating the process.Every night of the Stanley Cup playoffs, TSN hockey analyst and former NHL goaltender Jamie McLennan breaks down each goalies performance. Jamies number grades given are out of five, with five being the best mark. Carey Price, Montreal (3) - On the second Lightning goal, he overplayed the post and on the third, it went through his body. He was good when it mattered with good saves on Steven Stamkos and Ondrej Palat and, most importantly, the only number that matters is four wins, which Price was instrumental in delivering Anders Lindback, Tampa Bay (1) - He got the gate halfway through the game and Lindback certainly did not have a lot of help as the Lightning was grossly outplayed, but he got beat twice on straight shots that were stoppable and had angle issues on them. Lindback looked erratic and overactive. Kristers Gudlevskis, Tampa Bay (3) - He came in and was very good, especially on Brendan Gallagher and Rene Bourque and he helped change the tide for Tampa. The game-winning goal went through his body and was a squeaker. It was tough finish for a real nice performance. Tuukka Rask, Boston (5) -  It was a solid effort. Rask wasnt tested too much, but he made big saves on Johan Franzen and Gustav Nyqvist in close in the second period and a monster save on Justin Abdelkader in the 3rd. Rask is playing so poised and positionally sound right now that he makes it look easy in the net. Jimmy Howard, Detroit (3) - The Dougie Hamilton goal was a shortside, stoppable puck. Howard didnt get a lot of help on the second Boston ggoal.dddddddddddd He fought to find pucks through lots of traffic on the penalty kill and made big saves on Brad Marchand and Jarome Iginla. Ray Emery, Philadelphia (2) - Emery was not overly sharp this game. He gave up a bad rebound on the Derek Stepan goal and he was beat clean on the Dan Girardi goal from far out. He made a couple of big saves on Rick Nash and Martin St. Louis in close in the second period, but was lifted after the Dan Carcillo goal to give Steve Mason some minutes. Steve Mason, Philadelphia (N/A) Henrik Lundqvist, Rangers (4) He had no chance on the Mark Streit goal in what was a back door play. He fought hard in the crease tonight as Philly really crashed the net on him and made nice saves on Jake Voracek and Scott Hartnell.  Jonathan Quick, Los Angeles (3) - It was a seeing-eye shot that he didnt see on Patrick Marleaus OT winner. Quick let in three weird goals tonight. He over-pushed through the screen on the first goal and had no chance on the second goal because he was run into by Robyn Regehr. He made big saves, though, on Tomas Hertl, Brent Burns, Raffi Torres, Joe Pavelski and Logan Couture. It was a good response game from Quicks prior two, but not enough as the Kings go down 3 to 0. Antti Niemi, San Jose (4) - He made a big save on Jordan Nolan in the third and great saves on Mike Richards and Marian Gaborik in overtime. Niemi was outstanding in tight and found a way to keep the puck out at critical times. cheap nfl Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Cheap Jerseys cheap nfl Jerseys wholesale Jerseys ' ' '
