LONDON - A memorial kart race in honour of the late Dan Wheldon near his English hometown has so far attracted formula One champion Jenson Button, IndyCar champ Dario Franchitti and Le Mans winner Guy Smith. Race organizer Johnny Mowlem, a friend of Wheldons, says the two-hour kart endurance event will be on Dec. 5 at Daytona Milton Keynes, about 16 kilometres from Wheldons Emberton hometown. Others who have agreed to race with some of Wheldons family include former British F1 driver Anthony Davidson, and world touring car title contender Rob Huff.
