ZAGREB, Croatia -- Top-seeded Tommy Haas fought hard to defeat Russian qualifier Andrey Kuznetsov and reach the semifinals of the Zagreb Indoors tournament on Friday, while Daniel Evans of Britain upset No. 3 seed Phillip Kohlschreiber from Germany. Defending champion Marin Cilic also reached the semifinals -- his fourth in Zagreb -- defeating fellow Croat Ivan Dodig. German qualifier Bjorn Phau beat Dudi Sela of Israel to reach his first semifinals in nearly five years. Haas secured a place in his first semifinals since winning Vienna last October, beating Kuznetsov 7-6 (6), 6-4. Both players kept their serve very solid during the first set and not a single game went to deuce. Kuznetsov saved two set points before losing the first set, but Haas broke in the opening game of the second set and kept the advantage, having to save two break points leading 2-1. "Winning the first set in the tie breaker was very important for the momentum," Haas said. This is the 13th career tournament for Haas being the top seed, but he has never reached the finals. After reaching the quarterfinals for the first time at any ATP event, the British No. 2, Evans, went one step further Friday ousting Kohlschreiber 6-4, 2-6, 6-4. Evans had stepped in after Radek Stepanek withdrew from the tournament with a heel strain. Evans has won three matches in the main draw and is now the first British player other than Andy Murray who reached the semifinals on a tour-level tournament since James Ward reached the last four at Queens Club in London in 2011. "Its nice to be consistent. This is a good achievement," said Evans, who will face Haas in the semis. Fifth-seeded Cilic, who triumphed in Zagreb in 2009, 2010 and 2013, converted four out of five break points to beat fourth-seeded Dodig 7-5, 6-4 in just 92 minutes. Cilic now has an 18-1 record in the last five attempts here. Cilic started strong, leading 5-2 in the first set, before Dodig appeared to fight back winning three games in a row. But Cilic soon broke again before closing the first set. Things turned around briefly in the second set, when Dodig was up 2-1 with a serve, but Cilic broke back immediately. Proving to be too strong for his opponent, Cilic converted his second match point with a great passing shot. "There were some ups and downs on both sides. Some great shots and some wrong decisions," Cilic said. Cilic will face Phau, who beat Sela of Israel 6-4, 6-3. Sela won the three opening games, but Phau came back to win 10 of the next 12. Phau last played an ATP semifinal in Houston in 2009. nike Air Max 90 Mens Sale . Zuccarello was evaluated back in New York, and diagnosed with a non-displaced fracture -- an injury that typically takes 3 to 4 weeks to heal -- the Rangers said Friday. The 26-year-old Zuccarello, New Yorks leading scorer this season with 43 points, will miss a week of practice time before the Rangers play Chicago on Thursday in their first game following the NHLs Olympic break. nike Air Max 90 Australia For Sale . -- A municipal court hearing for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe on speeding and marijuana possession citations has been rescheduled. http://www.airmaxonline-au.com/cheap-nike-air-max-90-australia/nike-air-max-90-mens.html . Centre Brad Richards is the prize of this years crop and the former Conn Smythe Trophy winner is set to sign the richest free agent deal of the day. In his 10-year career, the 31-year-old has been a 20-goal scorer eight times and over the last two seasons in Dallas he posted 168 points (52 goals, 116 assists) in 152 games.  Richards, who collected $7.8 million for his services last season, has attracted the interest of big market teams like the New York Rangers and Toronto Maple Leafs. The Rangers are in search of a top centre to pair with the prolific Marian Gaborik, while the Maple Leafs are hoping Richards will return to Canada as a setup man for sniper Phil Kessel. The free agent spotlight will be shining on Richards, but as history has shown some of the most important signings are the ones that fly under the radar. There are plenty of notable veterans hitting the market, including Simon Gagne, Ville Leino, Erik Cole, Michael Ryder, and Tomas Fleischmann. Gagnes health will be the biggest question mark around bringing him to augment a teams offensive attack. The former 40-goal scorer has been slowed by concussion issues, but when healthy he can be a weapon, which he proved over the last two post-season campaigns. Leino is a solid top six forward who is coming off the best season of his pro career with 19 goals and 34 assists. And his grit will be a welcome addition to a number of rosters across the league. Cole is testing the free agent waters after playing eight of his nine NHL seasons in Carolina. The power forward is coming off a solid year with 52 points, the third higghest total ever.dddddddddddd. Ryder showcased his ability to put the puck in the net during the Boston Bruins run to the Stanley Cup. with 17 points in 25 playoff games fresh in the minds of front offices across the league, Ryder will have likely have a variety of options. Fleischmann is another winger who has had trouble staying healthy. When he does take the ice, Fleischmann can break the 50-point barrier and at 27 years old he is just entering his prime. The No. 1 defenceman available in free agency was supposed to be Christian Ehrhoff, but the Buffalo Sabres prevented that by inking him to a long-term deal on Thursday. The contract came after a pair of trades that saw Ehrhoffs rights move from the Vancouver Canucks to the New York Islanders to the Sabres, who were able to prevent him from reaching the open market. With Ehrhoff locked up, teams looking for help on their blue line will have to set their sights on another target.  Tomas Kaberle may benefit from what appears to be a thin group of unrestricted free agent defenders.  Kaberle was able to hoist the Stanley Cup as a member of the Bruins, but he might not fit into the defending champions future plans. His performance in the playoffs left a lot to be desired and it will be interesting to see if that was a bump in the road or a sign of things to come. General managers in need of an upgrade between the pipes will begin their search with veteran Tomas Vokoun. Vokoun may have a limited playoff resume, but the 13-year veteran will be looking for a new home after four seasons with the Panthers. Vokoun will bring a 2.56 goals against average, a .917 save percentage and 44 career shutouts to his new club. Other names that could be on the move are forwards Tim Connolly, Antti Miettinen, Sean Bergenheim and Scottie Upshall, defencemen Jan Hejda, Ian White, Roman Hamrlik, and Sami Salo, and goaltenders Ray Emery, Mike Smith and Josh Harding. cheap nfl Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Cheap Jerseys Cheap Jerseys cheap nfl Jerseys wholesale Jerseys ' ' '
