Choosing a MP3 player that used to be a buying decision much easier than it is today. Just a couple of years, only MP3 players played MP3 music. Today, the man and his dog that has a mobile device, laptop or memory storage can play MP3 music. Now that there are a few things to keep in mind, it is convenient to think of some issues before splashing some serious money (or trying to save some serious money).

Part I - Do you need an MP3 player?

Probably the most important question that needs to be done. Why would you want one? Does your phone come with an MP3 player? What about your laptop? Why do you need if you already have one? The only reason MP3 players exist in its own right due to a mobile phone is a much better device for making phone calls on the road, and an MP3 player, so it is a much better device for playing MP3 music. When an include function, include is a function (ie, quality and performance).

Part II - Need a good MP3 player?

It is likely that the second most important question that needs to be done. Sounds like a rhetorical question. Of course, you want a good MP3 player, but please give a definition of "good." You want something that looks good, plays well (and is probably a better word) or sounds good (or perhaps all three). Remember that these days people will buy things for the image (looks / sounds good), performance (good deeds) and quality (hard good). All three have a cost (though not necessarily equal in weighting), and usually find that two out of three is not bad. Sometimes, big brands not only looks good (the Japanese designers are experts at this), sounds good (for example, hears look, I have a Sony-insert model here), but may actually have a good performance or quality as well (Some say that the iPod falls into this category, but do not want to start another online forum about it). But most of the time, people practice begins with the performance or quality, and just hope it is something that can be hidden in the pocket of your clothing designer label MP3.
