Antispam. Are not we all! Do not you hate? You have enough to do without having to sift through a bunch of useless or, worse, offensive junk e-mails in your inbox.

What can you do? What antispam procedures and software really work?

Spam filtering software is the first stop on its anti-spam, but somehow it is easier to overcome.

What anti-spam tool that does is tell your email system for designated keywords - sex, porn naked, for example - and delete messages that contain these keywords. Of course, there are easy ways to get around these spam tactics. Have you ever seen a message that comes through the word sex written s * e * x? Well, this method has eluded asterisk spam filter - spam filter or your ISP and email.

The other problem with this filter is that you could lose legitimate messages. A friend, for example, that could address that was "sick of porn sites to appear" might have her message deleted because it contained the word porn.

Two updated versions of these products are spam filtering and heuristics, Bayesian filters, which attempt to identify the offending messages through the recognition of phrases as objectionable. SpamAssassin by Apache is probably the best known example of heuristic filtering. What these filters are making the most basic is not looking at the message itself rather than the head of the subject. Both Bayesian and heuristic filters has an Achilles heel which they depend for filtering in frequency. They were a spammer to send a short message to be passed.

To complicate matters further by punishing the "good guys" began to major Internet service providers by simply sending an email in  BATCHes considered as potential spam. What this, however, was interrupted opt-in products such as e-zines and newsletters. It did not work well. The spammers themselves found a way around anyway. As you send messages  BATCH inserts a program that produced a variation in each game. Perhaps a word that even makes sense, but still individualized enough to each message that concrete does not appear as lots.

Some agencies, nonprofit Internet surveillance began keeping a list of IP addresses from spammers. When these addresses come in the mail was blocked. The way around this to spammers was simple - they changed the IP addresses. The result was even worse, at the addresses then delivered completely innocent people who now had problems sending e-mail. Then the spammers got aggressive and began to create and distribute viruses that allows them to appropriate the IP addresses that were not in the "spam" lists.

When the answer seems to be for many companies and their sites is to avoid the standard e-mail communication altogether and the use of online feedback formS for electronic communication. That of course does not solve the problem antispam individuals who do not have your own website.
