Governor Umahi Receives Award For His Remarkable Efforts in Promotion of Agriculture In Nigeria

The Chairman of Southeast Governors' Forum and Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr. David Umahi has received award for his many efforts in the promotion of Agriculture in Nigeria and Ebonyi State in particular.

The award was presented to him by the Minister for Agriculture and rural development, Alh. Sabo Nanone on behalf of IFAD/NCDP/ FGN collaboration in a workshop of commodity alliance forum that took place at Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja on Friday.

This is evidence of the importance of many agricultural initiatives of the Governor which include, the one man; one hectare of land, revival and modernization of the Ebonyi fertilizer plant, the installation of many rice mill plants, etc.
