Was it yesterday I saw you outside the university gates and we greeted after the Igbo tradition and now during a telephone conversation they Nwokoma Jude is no more who do I get those don’t mind them smiles from again or is it those groundnuts we ate during last semesters invigilation in Room 2 council chamber building dear fallen comrade do I give twenty one salute, do I put wreaths on your graveside, do I put your statue on campus square all that are to soon forgotten except as I engrave on this marble plate that here lies a detribalized Jude whose smiles never huts a friend or foe on ward we march these last comrade standing telling you tis tides for Adiu Nwokoma Jude.
