My dislike is in African movies specially nollywood is Shooting of Gun, I don't know where that originate in Africans culture. Mode of dressing sometimes not being African.  Too much voodoos power demonstration specially Yoruba movies from Nigeria.
You can predict what the end of most movies will be, which removes the curiosity out of the movie.

Things I like about African movies apart from creating jobs for thousands of Africans are: promoting African culture, when the scene call for it they speak good English, I like comedy, is my favorite. I learn some fashion from movies, from types of Cars to house and wear dressing styles.

African movies come in different categories, I think you're going to enjoy them. The only downside (depends on your perception though) is that African movies tend to tell story about life in Africa and culture.
