NIGERIA IS NEITHER ONE NOR UNITED ACCORDING TO NORTHERN NIGERIA!

The North has through its recent outburst endorsed balkanisation of Nigeria without knowing it. The position of the core North political office holders alongside their Emirs and Chiefs has underscored and authenticated the glaringly fact that Nigeria is not one and merely functioned dubiously to serve the interest of a section of the country. The caveat after their divisive pronouncements that Nigeria's unity and indivisibility is sacrosanct smacks hypocrisy and double standard. They hype on indivisibility  but promote hi-tech discrimination, marginalisation, corruption and one sided distribution of national largesse.

Having opposed the position of other Nigerians conveyed through the ENDSARS protests, the core north has shot itself in the leg and the message is clear  that we don't share same background, thoughts, orientation  and aspirations and if that is the case, why pretending about the so called indivisibility and indisolubility of the artificial creation of the British called Nigeria?



Now, the Southern leaders and middle belt leaders have responded accordingly, what next? It is clear that this project Nigeria must be reexamined  to determine  it's feasibility, viability or otherwise. Nigeria cannot continue this way and anything short of true, fiscal and perfect federalism is not allowed and can't guarantee our continuation as one nation. We must talk and agree on whether to remain as one or not and if to remain,on what basis should that be? Nigeria can't continue under this dubious and highly inequitable system that robs others to better a section of the country. The position of those leaders should be adopted by a body of political office holders from those areas as already  done by the core North. The political office holders from the middle belt, South South, South East and South West alongside their traditional rulers should meet with the leadership of those sociocultural Associations and replicate what the north did.


They should stop being cowards and bootlickers and oppose northern domination and emasculation now  and forever ! Failure to push and push  that concept decisively now will be the biggest blunders of proponents of confederation, true federalism or dismemberment of Nigeria!
