Have you ever wondered (I'm sure you have at least similar words) in a word, as the software is. Words are soft and pliable disks at once. Or were protective sleeves for old hard disks made of a velvety material that made them "soft" ware. Well I love this kind of thing and I would like to explore with you in the following paragraphs a number of the origin of this word and why it is so common in our time, software.

To understand the origin of the term software, and the software, you must first understand that there is hardware. The meaning of hardware probably has a lot of levels of meaning and most were probably casual lunch or social gathering.

Hardware refers to the guts "of the computer machine, the physical reality of a disk drive and a hard drive and a monitor, etc.. These are real physical entities that make them "difficult." You may own, take them, software, etc. On the other hand is more theoretical than physical. Make sure the code is "difficult", composed of a and 0 for bits and bytes, but it is difficult in the sense that they can actually touch the ones and zeros by hand, chewing, and anything you could be able to do with the hardware.

Software is the program that makes things more of a virtual or abstract level. Information is saved as something that is invisible but fully recovered and able, with the help of hardware, produce an image that can be seen with the eyes.

There are two points to be made here. First, the feeling of doing something hard or soft. Never has. It is touch that determines this description and this is a useful way to determine the hardness or softness of software and hardware.

A good example of this test is a copy of the sentence hard or soft copy of a document. The hard copy is in the document on a sheet of paper and copying of software is one of the ones and zeros that make up in a theoretical sense (more representative than real) of writing on the page. Thinking in this way can help sort out what is the software and hardware that is.
